Electrolux Fridges Recalled Due To Fire Concerns

Electrolux has been forced to recall both the single and double door versions of the Beefeater drinks fridge, due to leaking concerns.

According to Product Safety Australia, “water can penetrate the sealed electrical control board located on the rear of the refrigerator” which may result in a fire.

“Consumers should immediately turn the refrigerator off, disconnect it from electricity supply, and contact Electrolux to arrange for a service technician to make a free of charge repair,” the PSA warns.

The recall is for model numbers: BS28200 and BS28130 within the serial number ranges of 72900000 to 95299999 and 00100000 to 04599999.

For further information, consumers can contact Electrolux Home Products.
