‘Genius’ Bakes, Roasts, Grills & Toasts

Panasonic announces new combination microwave the NN-CF874B Convection Microwave for $989 RRP.

The new model with a two-level oven that features convection baking and roasting; grilling and toasting; and also has other handy settings like defrost. Convection cooking saves time by cooking meals on two levels simultaneously.

Pana’s Inverter microwave technology ensures food is evenly cooked, so no spill-overs, burnt edges and cold spots, a common complaint of microwave cooking.

The intelligent ‘Genius’ sensor has 11 programs – select the type of food you want to cook and the microwave will automatically adjust time and power

The new model is a large 32 litre cavity with a flatbed, rather than turntable pull-down smoked glass door and touch control LCD panel.

It has a black and stainless steel design, with an optional stainless steel trim kit available, which allows it to be built-in.
The flatbed design not only creates a 45 percent larger cooking area, but it’s also more versatile for dishes of all sizes.
The flatbed design is much easier to clean, and the interior has a self-cleaning catalytic top and back plate.
Panasonic’s latest invention allows you to choose from a variety of modes, grilling fish to cooking a lamb roast or lasagne.
The NN-CF874B Convection Microwave is supplied with enamel, glass and wire oven trays and is available now.
