Retailer launched its long weekend sale today, in-store and online, ahead of the Queens birthday public holiday.

Dick Smith Queens specials include: 20% off Asus notebooks including 14″ Windows 8 PC for $399, HP, Sennheiser Stereo Headphones HD449 for $110 and Pioneer earphone for $19.95 (but no Beats or Sol Republics).
The retailer has also slashed 10% off Samsung Tablets including Note Pro for $989 and Note 10.1 for $399; $50 off iPad mini with Retina display Wi-Fi 32GB and all iPads over $500.
A lot of the deals appear to be on older stock but it is offering $60 off a Samsung 40″ Full HD LED TV and $200 off a Pioneer soundbar. It is running separate World Cup specials on AV gear.
Dick’s Queen deals are available across all stores, including WA, with the deals ending 12am Tuesday 10th June.
There also 10% off fitness devices including FitBit One – but no smart watches are on offer – and accessories including 40% Off Dick Smith Batteries, HDMI Cables, Camera Bags, Computer Cables (ex. catalogue), and Logitech gear.
Online currently accounts for 4% of Dick Smith’s total sales – but the retailer hopes to make this 10% by 2015 a target which it says is “achievable,” according to a Morgan Stanley investor presentation given by Director George Papacosta, yesterday.
Third quarter web sales rose almost 50% and the retailer is “on track” to grow this to 5% by the second half of the financial year.
