DTA Sets Up New Software Panel

The Federal Government’s Digital Transformation Agency has published a request-for-information for a proposed new category on its software licensing and services panel, as it continues towards its goal of consolidating digital procurement panels.

The new category is dubbed Commercial-off-the-Shelf (COTS) software. It includes products such as analytics, project management and workflow tools, data migration, software integration and system testing software.

The COTS category is intended to replace most current software procurement. The first category already available on the panel is Microsoft software.
