D-Link New VIPER Modem Router Built for Gamers

D-Link has released the new VIPER 2600 MU-MIMO Wi-Fi Gigabit Modem Router aiming to provide the ultimate HD streaming and gaming experience to users available now for $399.95 AUD.

The new VIPER 2600 High Power Wi-Fi Gigabit Modem Router is designed to provide maximum performance by combining next-generation MU-MIMO AC2600 Wi-Fi with Gigabit Ethernet and a dual-core processor for enhanced HD streaming and gaming, and fully NBN ready.

It can be set up instantly with the touch of a button and an installation wizard walks you through the rest.

D-Link ANZ Managing Director Graeme Reardon said in a press release that, “The VIPER 2600 has been designed to provide the ultimate HD streaming and gaming experience. To that end, the VIPER 2600 uses advanced beamforming technology to track your connected devices with superior Wi-Fi speed and range, and D-Link SmartConnect technology automatically and intelligently distributes these devices across both the 2.4GHz and 5GHz bands for optimal Wi-Fi performance.”

Featuring a powerful Dual-Core processor, four simultaneous data streams and intelligent QoS technology, VIPER 2600 aims to provide ultra-fast Wi-Fi speed for uninterrupted gaming and high-quality video and audio experiences for its users.

The new VIPER 2600 also has in-built MU-MIMO technology that enables multiple devices to access a high-bandwidth Wi-Fi signal at the same time, distributing data more efficiently, resulting in lag-free gaming, fast streaming, and easier transfer of large files.

Its Dual-Core processor boosts multitasking computing power and improves throughput speeds for all common household networking applications.

The router is DLNA compatible so you can play and share your media on any DLNA devices, such as TVs, gaming consoles, smartphones and more.

The new VIPER 2600 High Power Wi-Fi Gigabit Modem Router (DSL-3900) is available now in Australia at www.dlink.com.au and at all authorised D-Link resellers and retailers (RRP$399.95).
