Cheap iPhone SE 3 And AirPods Pro 2 Tipped To Release In April
Apple is rumoured to drop a cheap iPhone and a new generation of AirPods Pro in April 2021, according to a Japanese tech site.
Macotakara reports Apple will launch an iPhone SE 3 and a pair of AirPods Pro 2 in as little as three months – and there is speculation the California-based company will drop the AirPods 3 even earlier.
There are no exact details on specs or pricing for the iPhone SE 3, however the rumoured date appears logical as the current iPhone SE model was launched in April 2020. Apple is known for releasing new generation devices exactly a year later.
The iPhone SE 3 is also expected to be very wallet friendly. The current SE model starts at $749, significantly cheaper than the iPhone 12 models.
The first generation of AirPods Pro launched in October 2019, which means it has been well over a year since Apple has introduced a new pair of the earbuds.
Apple used the tail-end of 2020 to introduce a number of new products, including iPhone, iPads, Apple Watches, the HomePod Mini speaker and its AirPods Max over-ear headphones, and it appears the company has no plans to slow down this year.
