CES 2019: Samsung Slyly Unveil 5G Prototype

Slipping under the radar of many, Samsung has very casually showcased its 5G phone prototype at CES 2019 – displayed in plain site, with very little fanfare.

As revealed by Business Insiderthe device closely resembles Samsung’s existing Galaxy S phone design.

Samsung is already tipped to launch a 5G version of its Galaxy S10 device this year, with commentators questioning similarities to the displayed prototype.

The prototype device reportedly featured a power and Bixby button, plus small ‘notch’ in the top right hand corner.

Whilst rotating a demo montage, virtually no insight was provided into the device’s ultra-fast 5G wireless data capabilities.
