Taiwanese-based MSI has continued to target creative professionals, by debuting its new PS63 Modern laptop for content creators, photographers and video editors at CES 2019.
Made in collaboration with the Discovery Channel, the PS63 Modern is positioned as a powerhouse notebook for creative professionals, weighing just 1.65kg.
With a 15.6-inch FHD IPS display screen, the laptop incorporates an eighth generation Core i7 processor, Nvidia GTX 1050 graphics, up to 32GB of DDR4 RAM and MSI’s Cooler Boost 3 technology.
Enhancing portability, the notebook accompanies a power adaptor which claims to be 38% smaller than standard models.
With minimal bezels, the laptop pledges up to 16 hours of battery life and supports Qualcomm Quick Charge 3.0 for phone charging.
With a fingerprint sensor, microSD slot, HMDI, USB-C port and more, the PS63 Modern draws upon many of MSI’s gaming-centric technologies, whilst tailoring the final product for creative purposes.
MSI’s PS63 Modern is set to launch in Australia later this year, with pricing to be confirmed.
Not swaying from its core gaming demographic, MSI has headlined its CES 2019 portfolio with the new GS75 Stealth laptop which incorporates the latest Nividia GeoForce RTX 20 series GPUs.
The 17.3″ inch laptop measures just 0.75 inches thick, with a 4-sided thin bezel display and aluminium alloy body.
For intense heat regulation, the device houses seven copper heat pipes and two dedicated fans.
The laptop will also join the new MSI GE75 Raider which is one of the first to house Nvidia’s new GeForce RTX 2080 GPU and Intel Core i7 processors.
With a diamond cut trim and Cooler Boost 5 technology, the laptop accompanies a per-key customisable RGB gaming keyboard.
Australian pricing and availability to be confirmed.
