CES 2018: HyperX Debuts First 30HR Wireless Gaming Headset

HyperX has unveiled its first ‘gaming grade’ wireless headset, the ‘Cloud Flight™’, plus a new mechanical keyboard (HyperX Alloy Elite RGB) and gaming mouse (HyperX Pulsefire Surge RGB).

Hyper X’s Cloud Flight wireless gaming headset offers 30 hours of battery life, claimed to be the longest available on the market today.

The headset features 90-degree rotating ear cups, with 50mm audio drivers, and broadcasting at 2.4 GHz.

Boasting TeamSpeak and Discord certification, the Cloud Flight features a detachable noise-canceling microphone, and is PC, PS4™ and PS4™ Pro ready.

The headset features built-in controls for; “LED effects, mic mute, power, and volume”. It supports a three-pole analog audio connection.

HyperX Alloy Elite RGB Mechanical Keyboard

The Alloy Elite RGB is Hyper X’s first full-featured RGB mechanical gaming keyboard, featuring full colour customisation with NGenuity software.

With three custom lighting profiles – which can be saved to on board memory – the device is built with a solid steel frame.

Dedicated media buttons, a pass-through USB 2.0 port, detachable wrist rest, and textured, titanium-coloured keycaps are also apparent. Game Mode, N-Key Rollover, and anti-ghosting are additional specifications embedded within the device.

HyperX Pulsefire Surge RGB Mouse

The Pulsefire Surge RGB mouse boasts 360° RGB lighting effects and incorporates a Pixart 3389 sensor for accuracy and speed – notching settings up to 16,000 DPI.

Also included is customisable native DPI settings, alongside an LED indicator which enables gamers to monitor settings.

Hyper X claims that the Pulsefire Surge provides “accurate, fluid and responsive tracking, without acceleration”.

The inclusion of Hyper X’s NGenuity software allows gamers to can assign personalised macro functions to six programmable keys.

Hyper X’s new suite of gaming gear will land in Australia later this year, with pricing yet to be confirmed.
