Fisher & Paykel Brand Guru Unveiled

Hong, is the appliance giant’s new Senior Brand Manager, moving from her current role as Haier Brand Manager.

She has been with the company for over seven years, appointed to her current role in 2010, initially recruited in 2007 as Fisher & Paykel Marketing Assistant.

Chinese-owned Haier took over the New Zealand-based Fisher & Paykel, in late 2012.

“We look forward to the exceptional contribution Yvonne will undoubtedly bring to the role as we implement a range of exciting, new marketing strategies across the Fisher & Paykel brands in  2014,” says Fisher & Paykel Marketing Manager, Kara May, who was previously held the role.

“Yvonne is a talented, hard-working and dedicated marketer who has produced outstanding results for the Haier brand and she will be a proven asset for the Fisher & Paykel brand.”

Hong was been instrumental in building the brand in Australia and New Zealand and repositioning it as a competitive brand and involved in successful marketing campaigns, including  ‘Live a Haier life’  which won two prestigious EFFIE awards.

Yvonne will transition into the role when a replacement Brand Manager has been found for Haier.

Fisher & Paykel is currently advertising for the vacancy on SEEK.
