Bunnings secured its seventh consecutive victory as Australia’s Most Trusted Retail Brand, also winning the overall Best of the Best award for the second straight year.
The hardware retailer with over 350 stores competed against more than 100 retail brands including Amazon, Harvey Norman, JB Hi-Fi, Costco, and IKEA.
Australians cited Bunnings’ price matching, product quality and range, helpful staff, and reasonable pricing as reasons for their trust.
“These awards are a reflection of the incredible work our 50,000+ team members across Australia do every day to support our customers, communities, suppliers and tradies,” Bunnings said.
Kmart won the Most Trusted Brand in Department & Discount Department Stores for the seventh consecutive year, ranking as Australia’s third most trusted brand overall.
The category proved highly competitive, with all three finalists, Kmart, Big W, and Myer, ranking in the top 10 most trusted brands nationally.
Consumers praised Kmart for looking after families with quality products and low prices, describing the retailer as “consistent and reliable with a great range and value.”
“This recognition belongs to the 50,000 proud and passionate team members in our stores, distribution centres and support offices,” said Rennie Freer, General Manager of Marketing at Kmart Australia.

Samsung claimed its seventh straight victory as Australia’s Most Trusted Consumer Products Brand, competing in an expansive category covering clothing, footwear, electronics, white goods, and health and beauty products.
The South Korean multinational defeated finalists Nike and Sony, along with other contenders including Adidas, Dyson, LG, Nintendo, and PlayStation.
Australians cited Samsung’s product reliability and pursuit of excellence across multiple categories as reasons for their trust.
Apple secured its fifth consecutive win as Australia’s Most Trusted Technology Brand, ranking comfortably within the top five most trusted brands overall.
Apple finished ahead of fellow finalist Hewlett-Packard in a category that also included Microsoft and OpenAI (ChatGPT).
Consumers praised Apple’s products, pricing, innovation history, and customer support.
Aldi retained the title of Australia’s Most Trusted Supermarket Brand for 2025, ranking as the second most trusted brand overall.
The German discount supermarket capitalised on distrust of other supermarkets in the highly competitive category that included Coles, Woolworths, IGA, Drakes Supermarket, and 7-Eleven.
Australians cited Aldi’s focus on affordability, effective marketing, and consistent product quality at lower costs as reasons for their trust.
