BMR Group Acquires ‘Look & Listen’ Home Automation

Queensland-based BMR Group has acquired home automation installer Look & Listen for an undisclosed sum. From October 10th, all existing Look & Listen customers will be serviced by BMR and its associated businesses (Digital Residence, Portl and Livigy).

BMR Group Managing Director, Matt Manalis, asserts both companies share the same “customer focus”, and pledges to nurture existing relationships.

“Being trusted by Craig to take over his current client base means a lot to me, I believe that our customer focus and core values are very similar”

“My team and I are looking forward to continuing from where Craig left off, and building on those relationships over time.”

Adding Look & Listen to its umbrella will enable BMR to offer Savant home automation to its customers, joining Control4 and Crestron technology.

Manalis claims having all three major home automation brands “under the same roof” will provide customers access to optimised systems, unrestricted by product limitations.

Look & Listen Managing Director, Craig Samson, has decided to enter “the next phase of his career”, after several years in the AV industry.

During his tenure, Samson has received several industry awards including “Best Integrated Home – World Wide” in 2016.

The acquisition of Look & Listen will increase BMR Group’s stable to four businesses, operating from its Head Office in Albion. The site also houses its Smart Home Experience Centre, which is an authorised Control4 showroom.
