Betta Tops Appliance Customer Satisfaction

Betta Home Living has been named the best place to buy an appliance or electrical good for customer satisfaction, according to the Choice Appliance Retailer survey, with many praising its customer service, delivery and after-sales process.

Over 6,000 consumers took part in the Choice survey, with competing retailers ranked based on product range, value for money, customer service, delivery options, and after-sales service.

Betta Home Living held an overall satisfaction score of 83, beating out Retravision, who came in second place with an overall score of 82.

The survey found Betta Home Living outperforming most competitors in several key areas, including the average range of products and brands stocked, as well as value for money..

“Choice members commented that staff in Betta stores were very helpful and knowledgeable,” Matt Steen, Choice director of reviews and testing, told Insider Retail.

Choice’s survey found that discount department stores Big W and Target were consistently rated lower in almost all categories, except value for money, with Target being singled-out for its poor levels of customer service.

“In comments from Choice members who participated in the survey, Target was consistently called out for the fact that it was often difficult to access customer service in their stores,” Steen continued.

As for online retailers, Choice’s survey found Appliances Online as the leader in this space, scoring 86 and having topped every single category in the survey.

The survey rated each online retailer based on their product range, websites ease of use, payment option and delivery, and after-sales service.

Harvey Norman on the other hand scored the lowest overall in the online category at 73.
