Bang & Olufsen Targets Luxury Outdoor Audio With Immersive Design Showcase
Bang & Olufsen is making a push into the growing premium landscape audio market with its new high-end outdoor speaker concept, the Beosound Haven, unveiled at Milan Design Week 2026.
Developed in partnership with Italian stone specialist Antolini, the Beosound Haven blends aluminium audio engineering with natural stone structures, positioning the speaker as part of architectural design rather than a standalone device.
The product was showcased in a large-scale installation at Antolini’s Milano Duomo Stoneroom, where greenery, water features and quartzite surfaces were used to demonstrate how sound can integrate into physical environments.

The move reflects a broader shift in the audio industry, where outdoor systems are evolving beyond basic weatherproof speakers into fully designed, high-performance installations.
Competitors such as Sonus faber, Focal and Monitor Audio have already raised expectations in the category.
Bang & Olufsen says the Beosound Haven is designed to be specified early in architectural and landscaping projects, rather than added as an afterthought.

“We explore sound as an architectural language,” said B&O Senior Director of Design Kresten Bjørn Krab-Bjerre.
The collaboration also extends to a limited-edition update of B&O’s Beolab 18 speaker, featuring matte-finish natural stone variants including Amazonite and Taj Mahal quartzite.
While pricing and release details have not been announced, the offering is clearly aimed at high-end residential builds, luxury hospitality and custom installations rather than mainstream consumers.
