Bang & Olufsen Caps Centenary Series With Limited-Edition Beolab 90 Speakers
Bang & Olufsen has unveiled two ultra-exclusive loudspeakers to complete its centenary Atelier series, with just ten pairs of each model available globally.
The Danish audio brand announced the Beolab 90 Monarch Edition and Beolab 90 Zenith Edition as the final releases in its five-part celebration of 100 years of design and engineering. The new models follow earlier Titan, Shadow and Mirage variants.
Both editions are built on B&O’s flagship Beolab 90 platform, a high-end floorstanding speaker system featuring 18 drivers and 360-degree sound dispersion designed to fill a room with precisely controlled audio.

The Monarch Edition (above) leans into classic Scandinavian design, combining hand-crafted rosewood panels with precision aluminium. The wooden lamellas wrap around the speaker’s sculptural frame, while semi-transparent fabric sections reveal internal components, blending aesthetics with acoustic engineering.
The Zenith Edition (below) takes a more experimental approach. Each speaker is clad in hundreds of anodised aluminium spheres arranged across multiple panels, alongside mother-of-pearl detailing. The result is a reflective, textured surface designed to interact with light and create a dynamic visual effect.

Despite their artistic finishes, both models retain the same core acoustic architecture as the standard Beolab 90, including beam-forming technology that directs sound to different areas of a room.
Each edition is limited to ten pairs worldwide and includes a certificate of authenticity, plus a miniature aluminium sculpture of the speaker.
Pricing reflects that rarity, with each pair expected to cost around €480,000 (approximately A$790,000).
