16″ MacBook Pro Tipped For October

Apple’s rumoured new 16-inch MacBook Pro is expected to officially launch by the end of October, if a new report from Digitimes is to be believed.

Images of the device were previously discovered in MacOS Catalina last week, and the new report claims that these rumours are in fact real.

According to Digitimes, who cited supply-chain sources, Taiwanese manufacturer Quanta Computer has already began shipping the 16-inch MacBook Pro, which now apparently comes with super thin bezels and a much sharper display (3072×1920).

The new MacBook Pro is also expected to come with Intel’s latest Ice Lake or Coffee Lake Refresh processors, as well as Apple’s new scissor switch-based keyboard.

There are expectations within the industry that Apple would be holding an October 2019 event, but recent reports have cast doubt on that, especially considering we are nearly at the end of the month and still haven’t gotten any confirmations.

Stay tuned for more.
