ALDI Recalls Stirling Kettle Over Burn Risk

Product Safety Australia has recalled select ALDI Stirling Electric Kettles (1.7L), with the device handle at risk of separating from its body, thereby posing a scalding/burn risk.

Distributed by Tempo Australia, the kettle was sold at ALDI stores nationally between March 22nd 2017 and June 13th 2018.

The “open handle kettle” was sold in a variety of colours, with the recall applying to the following PLUs; 58848, 60039, 60040, 60041, 56361, 56362, 56363, 58091, 58092 and 58093.

Consumers are advised to cease using the kettle immediately, and return the product to any ALDI store for a full refund.
