Acer Show Off World’s Thinnest Laptop

First revealed by ChannelNews, Acer have now officially unveiled its Swift 7 laptop – which they say is the thinnest in the world at less than 1cm thickness.

The company says it’ll provide both incredible portability and up to 9 hours of battery life.

“We are thrilled that the Swift 7 is now available in Australia because this is a device that caters to the needs and wants of many. While the all-aluminium chassis is less than one centimetre thin, the Swift 7 does not lack in performance and stamina, offering the perfect solution for those who enjoy not only a full-day of productivity, but also a device that is sleek, easy to carry around and stylish”, said Gaba Cheng, Head of Products at Acer.

The Swift 7 is packing a top-of-the-line performance delivered via a 7th Generation Intel Core i7 processor and up to 8GB of memory.

Accompanying these interior factors are a 256GB SSD hard drive and a 13.3-inch Full HD IPS display coated in the latest version of Corning’s Gorilla Glass.

“For years, Intel and Acer’s strong collaboration has resulted in top of the line, tier one products and this is completely evident in the new Swift 7”, said Katherine Nguyen, Head of Marketing, Acer Australia and New Zealand.

The Acer Swift 7 will be available exclusively in Harvey Norman stores across Australia from November onwards with prices starting at $1,999.
