A New GoPro Desktop App Is Coming

Reports are suggesting GoPro users can expect a new GoPro desktop app.

During the Q2 earnings, CEO Nicholas Woodman of GoPro claimed paid subscribers will gain access to this software at no additional charge.

Able to sync with the cloud and mobile apps, and able to import footage from third party cameras.

GoPro Quik

This will be the first desktop app since GoPro Studio editor was discontinued in 2018, in favour of a simpler Quik app.

The GoPro subscriber count has also risen to 2.44 million, compared to previous quarter’s 2.36 million.
