Asus Marks Milestones With Channel Partners

Asus Marks Milestones With Channel PartnersThe festivities marked the achievement of 500,000,000 motherboards sold by the end of 2014 and this year’s 20th anniversary of Asus manufacturing graphics cards, with the limited edition Gold 20th Anniversary GTX 980 graphics card, limited edition TUF Sabertooth Z97 Mark S motherboard and the RT-AC3200 tri-band AC-wireless router on display to mark the celebrations.

Asus Australia Open Platform managing director Mia Tsai, along with the product management, channel sales and marketing teams, attended the dinners, with Tsai telling channel partners their support had led to the Asus Open Platform group achieving 13 per cent revenue growth year-on-year and 12 per cent growth quarter-on-quarter in the 2015 first quarter.

Tsai noted that every single Open Platform product line had contributed a positive growth.

“Of course, we can’t achieve this excellent result without your loyalty and close partnership with the Asus Australia Open Platform team,” Tsai told channel partners.

Tsai said Asus will continue to introduce new products and services.

“In the past few months, you have seen the first Chromebox, the ‘white’ motherboard, the ‘gold’ graphics card and the ‘six-antenna’ router from Asus,” she stated.

“Not only are we committed to innovation of the look, but also the highest performance and best quality to show Asus’ dedication to IT product solutions.”

Asus extended thanks to Synnex Australia, Ingram Micro Australia, Altech Australia, Dicker Data, Anyware Australia and all Asus resellers in recognising their contribution made.

A number of commendations were awarded to channel partners, including Top Growth, Strategic Partner, Best Performance, along with the All Rounder award, which was taken home by JW Computers (NSW), Scorptec (VIC), Computer Alliance (QLD) and Austin Computers (WA) for strong performance across a wide range of Asus product categories.

Asus additionally had a number of other products on display, demonstrating its range of hardware solutions.

Product displayed included a built gaming system based on the Republic of Gamers (ROG) Rampage V Extreme motherboard, utilising the Intel X99 chipset, paired with the Intel Core i7 5960X 8-core processor, 64 GB of Corsair Dominator Platinum DDR4 RAM and SLI ROG Matrix Platinum GTX 980 graphics cards, driving a triple-screen PG278Q ROG SWIFT gaming display array.

New ROG products on display included the ROG Whetstone mouse pad, ROG Sica gaming mouse, ROG Enthusiast SLI Bridges and ROG Poseidon GTX 980 graphics card.

From a home usage perspective, Asus’ Designo MX27AQ WQHD In-Plane Switching display, S1 projector and ROG GR6 console-replacement gaming system were also on display.
