Management Shakeup At LG

LG Australia is set to get a new managing director with Deok Hyeon Moon who has been there for three years being replaced by Youngik Lee who was previously part of the RAC overseas sales and marketing division for LG in Seoul. 


Also leaving the Australian subsidaryin March 2015 is the current head of mobile communications, Jonathan Banks, LG said that they will begin the search for his successor immediately. 

Moon is moving on from the top job for LG to work in the marketing strategy division in Seoul. He took up the MD role in December 2011 and prior to his MD role, he was the president of LG’s Russian subsidiary  and before that he was in charge of LG’s business in Panama and Central America.

Lambro Skropidis, general manager, marketing at LG said: “Mr Moon and Mr Banks have been great advocates for the Australian business. Both have been instrumental in steering significant change and innovation during their time with us and they will be missed. We send them on with our very best wishes and look forward to welcoming Mr Lee as we move into the New Year.”
