Haier Teams Up With Channel 10

Haier brand manager, Georgia Way said: “We are delighted The Home Team chose Haier as their white goods partner in this new venture. The Home Team is an ideal vehicle to showcase Haier appliances to an audience hungry for information on cost-effective ways to add style and value to their home.”

The new show, in which a Melbourne home is completely transformed room by room by either DIY people, suppliers or tradies. Each time they will feature a complete range of Haier products within an Australian
family home environment.

According to Haier, because the show focuses on the ‘nuts-and-bolts’ elements of renovating, demonstrating the how-to, it will appeal to the perfect audience for Haier – a practical, value-for-money brand offering affordable solutions for everyday Australian households.

The Home Team’s expert hosts will equip viewers for their own home renovations and will act as personal referrals for Haier products and brand attributes.  The hosts are all experts in their fields, chosen for their specialised skill-set, on-camera charisma and down-to-earth persona.

One of the hosts, James Bawden, runs a successful boutique building and design company, which has transformed many a Melbourne home.  Julia Green, the eye behind Greenhouse Interiors, styles and writes for
many magazines and newspapers and also represents several Melbourne artists.  Anthony Scott, an award-winning landscape designer heads up Arbour Landscaping Group.

The program’s producers, H-squared, are known for their success with daytime TV shows such as Everyday Gourmet and Good Chef, Bad Chef – which draws an audience of more than 280,000 viewers daily.

The new show, The Home Team, goes to air from 3.30pm-4pm Monday to Saturday on Channel 10 until 10 January 2015. Episodes will be ‘encored’ on ONE HD that night and again on TEN the next morning.
