Microsoft Pushes $199 Pendo Pad 8 With Windows 8.1
Low-cost tablets have been the domain of Android over the past couple of years, with even sub $100 tablets appearing at the counter of major supermarkets, with none of the bells and whistles you expect from Samsung, LG, Sony and others.
Now comes a new breed of low-cost Windows 8.1 tablets, kicked off by budget tablet maker Pendo, known for its inexpensive Android-powered Pendo tablets. The link Microsoft provides (here) shows a wide range of Windows tablets including the Pendo Pad.
Microsoft promises the Pendo Pad 8 “provides the great and easy-to-use Windows experience, in a compact tablet form”.
Microsoft has supplied us with a link to the Pendo Pad at the Pendo Australia site.
