Samsung Shoot New Smartphone Commercial in Fiji With OZ Surfers
Insiders who attended the shoot said that the commercial was for the Samsung Galaxy S6 Plus which is tipped to be a larger version of Samsung’s bestselling flagship, the Galaxy S6 Edge.
The use of surfers in the commercial could mean that the device has been ruggedized or is waterproof.
The latest reports about the alleged premium handset is that it will be called Samsung Galaxy S6 Note instead of Galaxy S6 Plus.
The manufacturer has recently trademarked the name and media outlets believe Samsung will use it on its newest and largest S6 device.
Insiders claim the device will come with a jumbo-sized Quad HD screen measuring 5.7 inches that will deliver 2560 x 1440 pixel resolution.
The same reports also claims that the so-called Galaxy S6 Note will draw its power from a 64-bit hexa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 808 processor despite Samsung moving to its own developed processors.
The Samsung Galaxy S6 Plus is also touted to have Android 5.1.1 Lollipop on board, the latest build of the current Google mobile OS. Sam Mobile, an ardent tipster of all things Samsung, claims that the handset will be out in the third quarter of the year, sometime from July to September, which is not too far away, editing for the new commercial is currently taking place in Sydney.
