Lenovo’s new releases encompass the IdeaPad 100 and Lenovo Z41 and Lenovo Z51 laptops, with the emphasis on simplicity and functional design, kicking off Lenovo Tech World’s new product line-up.
“Whether users just need to create and edit content or want a fully equipped multimedia experience to enjoy music and videos, the new Lenovo Z41, Lenovo Z51 and IdeaPad 100 laptops are ideal for users who value simple and functional design,” Lenovo stated of the new laptops.
The IdeaPad 100 has been created for users “who need only the most essential features, such as surfing the web, creating content and managing lists”.
Available in 14″ and 15″ models, the IdeaPad 100 features up to an Intel BayTrail-M N3540 processor, up to 500 GB HDD storage, and integrated Intel Graphics, and runs up to fours hours without charging.
The 14″ Z41 and 15″ Z51 laptops, powered by up to an Intel Core i7 processor, with up to 1 TB of storage, are decked out with a full-HD display, and come with optional AMD discrete graphics and Dolby DS 1.0 Home Theater Surround Sound.
The Z51 is additionally available with an optional Intel RealSense 3D camera, featuring full 1080p colour and a depth sensor, providing functionality including 3D scanning of objects to 3D print, playing 3D games or using gestures to control the laptop.
“We’ve created the new Lenovo Z41, Z51 and IdeaPad 100 laptops specifically for customers who want simple and functional design,” Bai Peng, Lenovo Notebook Business Unit, PC Group, vice president and general manager, stated of the new releases.
“But because our customers are diverse, so our products are not ‘one size fits all’ either. Our three new laptops offer customers the choice to select the one that’s right for them – two specialised for multimedia and one all-rounder.”
Pricing for the Z41 and Z51 starts at US$499, with the Z51, with the optional Intel RealSense 3D camera coming with an Intel Core i5 processor and 8 GB memory, starting at US$599. Pricing for the IdeaPad 100 starts at US$249.
The Z41, Z51 and IdeaPad 100 will start hitting retail shelves in June.
