Melbourne Online Shoppers Lead
In the latest eWay Online Retail Report, Melburnians in the 3000 postcode alone made up 2.09 percent of national transactions, well ahead of Sydney with 0.94 percent of transactions.
The data looked at 2.19 million transactions by eWay-powered retailers in August 2014, up from 1.89 million in August 2013.

In total, Australians spent an estimated $358 million online during August through eWay retailers, the company claims. That would be up 21 percent from the year before .
