Apple Could Unveil 21.5″ 4K iMac In October
9to5Mac has reported that the current plan is to release the new iMac alongside OS X El Capitan, and to begin shipping the product by the end of November.
Apple unveiled its 27″ iMac with Retina 5K display last October, with the smaller version now seemingly in for an upgrade.
9to5Mac has reported that references in El Capitan indicate the new 21.5″ iMac’s 4K display will come with a resolution of 4096 x 2304, while faster processors and improved colour saturation can also be expected. The current model iMac sports a 1920 x 1080 display.
It could be a busy few months for Apple, with the tech giant expected to unveil its next-gen iPhones at a media event next week. Apple could also unveil its next-gen Apple TV at the event.
