The Huawei 4.5G Smartband is said to boast next-generation 4.5G connectivity, described as being “in the middle of 4G and 5G”, which the company aims to make commercial next year.
Full details of the device are expected to be revealed at next week’s Mobile World Congress in Barcelona.
Huawei is keeping quiet on specifications, but observers are tipping the Smartband to sport a 1.4in OLED screen, near-field communications, Bluetooth and resistance against dust and water.
