Spotify are determined to be the default podcast player, today introducing the option to timestamp and send specific links to podcast episodes.
When you hit ‘share’, you’ll be able to toggle to a certain time, and share a link that directs listeners to that exact moment.
The uses for this are obvious; aside from showing someone a specific section of a hour-long interview, it will be useful for news outlet who pull stories from popular interview podcasts, and can now link out to the exact moment.
