Xiaomi Launches Two WiFi 6 Routers In Oz

Chinese brand Xiaomi has released two new WiFi 6 compatible routers in the Australian market.

The Mi AloT Router AX3600 and Mi Router AX1800, both of which use ultra-fast WiFi 6 to boost internet speeds, are sub $200 and can connect to 248 and 128 devices respectively.

The Xiaomi Mi AIoT Router AX3600 is priced at $199.95 and the Mi Router AX1800 is priced at $99.95 and both are available from February 15th online at the Mi-Store.com.au.

“The Mi AIoT Router AX3600 and Mi Router AX1800 are equipped with WiFi 6 which provides greater coverage, faster speed and an ability to connect an array of devices, making them a must-have product” said George Saad, Chief Operating Officer of Panmi.

The Mi AloT AX3600 delivers WiFi speeds of up to 2402Mbps on the 5GHz band and 574Mbps on the 2.4GHz band, while the Mi AX1800 delivers speeds of up to 1201Mbps on the 5GHz band and 574Mbps on the 2.4Ghz band.

Xiaomi Mi AIoT Router AX3600

Both routers are powered by Qualcomm 4-core CPU and 2-core NPU which allows the system to run more smoothly compared to its competitors when connected to many devices.

The Mi Home App will automatically discover the Mi AIoT AX3600 when it is plugged to a new Mi IoT device.

The Mi AX1800 creates a Mesh network by connecting to another Mi WiFi 6 router for a seamless whole home coverage. It can be connected by 5G and cable.

Xiaomi Corporation was founded in April 2010 and listed on the Main Board of the Hong Kong Stock Exchange on July 9, 2018 (1810.HK).
