Xbox One Pads Coming In Phantom Magenta, Arctic Camo

Xbox is adding two new colours to its Wireless Controller collection starting next month.

From April 7, the Xbox One Wireless Controller will be available in “Phantom Magenta” and from June 9 it will also be available in “Arctic Camo.”

The Phantom Magenta pad is the third in the Phantom series following the Phantom White and Phantom Black. Xbox says the Phantom design is “rooted in sci-fi” and highlighted by “an ultra-saturated magenta colour effect transitioning to translucent.” The translucent effect means you can see the circuitry under the hood.

The Arctic Camo pad is the second in the Camo series following the Night Ops Camo. Xbox says the Arctic Camo design uses “frosted transparent resin in the camo pattern” resulting in a controller that “camouflages itself from the inside-out.” It also features a diamond texture on the triggers.

Both new controllers are compatible with Xbox One X, Xbox One S, Xbox One and Windows 10, and feature a textured grip for enhanced comfort, custom button mapping, Bluetooth and a 3.5mm stereo headset jack. They will retail for AU$99.95 RRP.
