Sonus Faber Debut Arena Ci-Fi Range At CEDIA 2022
Looking to capitalize on a period of post-pandemic growth in the custom install market, premium Italian audio manufacturer Sonus Faber has unveiled ARENA loudspeaker range.
The custom-install, in-wall loudspeaker (Ci-Fi) market is a more recent endeavor for the Italian audio manufacturer, when it debuted it with the Palladio range in 2019. The ARENA range brings that to the next level, with the company announcing it just in time for CEDIA 2022.
“The new family of speakers is the result of a relentless synergy between the company’s technology and design departments,” says Sonus Faber Chief of Design and Vice President of R&D, Livio Cucuzza.
“From the very beginning, the goal was to ensure the natural sound characteristics that distinguish our products could be applied directly to the world of home theater, and our team worked collaboratively to make that dream a reality.”
The ARENA lineup is comprised of three models, all of which sport the company’s iconic Italian design signature, and ear for cinema like natural sound.

The largest speaker in the range is the ARENA 30, a 4-way LCR speaker that boasts a 38mm silk dome tweeter and a 19mm super tweeter.
The ARENA 20, which the company says boasts “the renowned Voice of Sonus faber” is slightly smaller, being a 3.5-way speaker, sporting the same 19mm dome tweeter.
Finally there is the ARENA S15, which pairs with the other speakers as a modular balanced subwoofer, which Sonus Faber claim is the “industry’s first-in-class bass provider.”
Set to debut at CEDIA 2022, the Sonus Faber ARENA range will be available from authorized dealers from October, with the ARENA 30 available for $15,000 USD (~A$23,050.12), the ARENA 20 for $10,000 USD (~A$15,366.75) and the ARENA S15 for $7,000 USD (~A$10,756.72). Official Australian pricing and availability is yet to be announced.
