Smart Home Brewing Machine iGulu F1 Arrives at JB Hi-Fi
Smart brewing system manufacturer iGulu has officially launched its flagship F1 automated home brewing machine in Australia, making the device available through JB Hi-Fi’s online platform as part of the company’s international expansion strategy.
The F1 smart brewing machine is now available for purchase through JB Hi-Fi’s website, with retail store availability rolling out soon.
The launch represents iGulu’s entry into the Australian market and introduces what the company calls the “3H lifestyle movement,” focused on Homemade, Happiness, and Healthy beverage creation.
The F1 functions as a comprehensive smart fermentation system capable of producing beer, cider, sparkling infusions, kombucha, mead, and wine.

The device uses RFID-enabled ingredient kits for simplified brewing, while offering a “Master Mode” for experienced users seeking complete control over the brewing process.
iGulu has developed over a dozen brew kits, with three popular recipes becoming available at JB Hi-Fi before the end of August.
The company plans to collaborate with local Australian brands to create localised brew kit options for the domestic market.
Key technical features include PiD temperature control for balanced flavours, automated pressure management with safety release systems, and CO₂ freshness technology that maintains carbonation for up to 30 days.
The device incorporates a dual pneumatic gas engine and a clean-pour tap designed to deliver bar-quality performance, along with eco-conscious, tool-free cleaning for daily use.
The F1 has received positive reviews from technology publications, with CNET describing it as producing “bar-quality beer and kombucha from a smart countertop machine” and Tom’s Guide praising “shockingly good drinks with a fully automated setup.”

TechRadar noted the device “turned me into a beer-making master in just 9 days.”
Over the past year, iGulu has signed distribution agreements in more than a dozen countries as part of its global expansion.
Following the Australian launch, the company plans to announce a major European retail partnership in October, furthering its international “brew-anything” vision.
Founder and CEO David Zhang said the company believes everyone should be able to create drinks that reflect their personality, mood, and values, with the F1 bringing “flavour, creativity, and wellness back into everyday life.”
The device targets home brewers, creators, and drink enthusiasts seeking to craft fresh, natural fermented beverages without traditional brewing complexity.
