Shark Expands Product Range With New Fan & Air Purifiers
Shark has revealed its new cordless FlexBreeze Fan and NeverChange 5 air purifiers, expanding its current product range to include air products.
The Shark FlexBreeze fan attempts to fix the issue of being hard to place where the user wants them.
It has an integrated battery, which is able to run in cordless or corded modes, and has a 20-hour runtime.
It’s also a pedestal model, meaning the top detaches, turning it into a desktop fan which can be placed on a table or desk.
It’s been designed for both indoor and outdoor use, and is rain and UV-resistant. Shark will also sell a misting attachment for outdoors, powered by a standard hose attachment, which is able to reduce the air temperature by up to 5 degrees.
The fan also comes with five speeds, 180 degrees of horizontal oscillation, a 55-degree tilt, and a timer mode. Pricing and availability have yet to be revealed.
Moving on to the Shark NeverChange 5 range of air purifiers, which are available in two sizes, and have filters designed to last up to five years. Shark claims this is 10x longer than its competition.
Each purifier come with four layers of filtration, including an outer DebrisDefense filter for capturing larger particles (Eg: pet hair). It can also be cleaned and reused.
Additionally, there’s a Pet Particle barrier, which can capture dander and allergens. Lastly, there is an Activated Carbon filter, and a Nanoseal HEPA filter.
The purifiers also take on Shark’s Anti-Odour capsules, which neutralise the bad smells and release a gentle one.
Auto IQ can be used to adjust the fan speed based on air quality, using PM (particular matter) sensors. This allows the purifiers to react to small particles (Eg: pollen and cooking), but not gasses.
Pricing and availability for the air purifiers have yet to be revealed.
