Segway has launched its third-generation eKickScooters at the Everything Electric expo, introducing four new models which incorporate advancements in smart technology and safety features.
Segway, which has sold over 13 million eKickScooters globally, says the new lineup – GT3, Max G3, F3 Pro, and F3 – aims to meet the growing demand for electric transport in Australia.
The new models include smart features such as AirLock hands-free unlocking, SegRide stability enhancement, Segway Dynamic Traction Control (SDTC), an Anti-Lock Braking System (S-ABS), and automatic headlights. Riders can also access real-time data through an upgraded Segway Mobility App and benefit from an improved battery management system (BMS 2.0).
Gino Casha, Head of Segway Australia, said: “More Australians are looking for electric transport options, and our latest eKickScooters offer a combination of high-quality design and smart features suited for both commuting and adventure.”
Segway has also received the Verified Micro Mobility Performance Mark (UL V Mark) from UL Solutions, making it the first brand in the world to attain this certification. The mark verifies the accuracy of performance claims related to range, energy consumption and water resistance.
