Samsung’s upcoming Galaxy S26 FE has leaked months ahead of launch, with early case renders revealing a familiar design and modest upgrades aimed at the value flagship market.

Leaked case renders (pictured below) published by sites including SammyGuru show the Fan Edition handset adopting Samsung’s current premium styling, including flat edges, slim bezels and a vertically aligned triple-camera setup.

The device appears heavily inspired by the standard Galaxy S26 range, although some renders suggest a redesigned rear camera strip similar to Samsung’s mid-range Galaxy A-series devices.

The front of the phone retains a centred punch-hole selfie camera and flat AMOLED display, while leaked colour options include black, grey, blue and violet variants.

Reports suggest Samsung is once again taking a conservative approach with its FE strategy, focusing on flagship aesthetics and software features rather than major hardware innovation.

The device is expected to run Samsung’s Exynos 2500 processor, paired with 8GB RAM and a 6.7-inch 120Hz AMOLED display. Battery capacity is tipped to sit between 4,900mAh and 5,000mAh, alongside wireless charging and IP68 water resistance.

One notable addition could be limited Qi2 magnetic charging support via compatible cases, although the handset itself is not expected to include built-in magnets.

Samsung’s FE lineup has become increasingly important as consumers look for premium smartphone experiences without Ultra-level pricing.

The S25 FE launched last year from A$1,099 and analysts expect Samsung to maintain aggressive pricing to compete against Google Pixel, Nothing and Chinese rivals in the upper mid-range segment.

Separately, Samsung has rolled out a new fingerprint ‘Improve Accuracy’ feature to the Galaxy S25 FE via One UI 8.5, ahead of even the flagship Galaxy S25 Ultra. The update allows users to rescan fingerprints multiple times for faster and more reliable unlocking.

The Galaxy S26 FE is expected to launch globally around September or October.
