Samsung’s Galaxy Xcover range is set to get a new member, reportedly called the Galaxy Xcover 7, with some official-looking renders being leaked.
The name leaves room for a Pro version, to either launch with it or afterwards. The device has a single rear camera and a rugged build, with the rear panel allegedly user-removable, according to the leak.
The left side appears to have a customisable Xcover button, which can be used for starting an app, push-to-talk, barcode scanning, or something else.
Following in the footsteps of its predecessors, it’s set to feature MIL-STD-810H compliance, along with an IP68 dust and water resistance. It’s also tipped to resist drops onto hard surfaces.
Specifications have yet to be revealed, but experts aren’t expecting high-end innards, as last year’s Xcover6 Pro was powered by the Snapdragon 778G SoC.
