Razer Launches ‘World’s Most Advanced’ Wireless Gaming Mouse

Razer is aiming to meet the demands of gamers with a new wireless gaming mouse the company describes as being “tournament-grade”.

The new Lancehead Wireless Gaming Mouse takes advantage of proprietary “Adaptive Frequency Technology”, which Razer claims allows for lag-free data transmission between the mouse and a computer.

Other technical features include a true 16,000 DPI 5G laser sensor, tracking at 210 inches-per-second, and 50 G acceleration, as well as compatibility with Razer’s Synapse Pro software for storing settings simultaneously on the mouse’s on-board memory and in the cloud.

“When speed and accuracy make the difference between winning or losing, the Razer Lancehead presents players with an unequivocal advantage,” Razer claims in its press release.

The Lancehead also features an ambidextrous form factor for both right and left handed users, as well as Razer Mechanical Mouse Switches which the company says are “optimized to deliver the optimal response times for gaming with a click latency has been tuned to be one of the fastest in the world.”

Alongside the Lancehead, Razer also announced the wired Lancehead Tournament Edition gaming mouse. It offers “pinpoint accuracy in the most intense gaming situations” according to Razer, and features an ‘esports-grade’ true 16,000 DPI optical sensor, tracking at 450 inches-per-second, and a resolution accuracy of 99.4%.

The Razer Lancehead wireless gaming mouse will be available in-store and on Razer’s website from May/June for RRP $239.95, while the Lancehead Tournament Edition will launch slightly earlier in April/May at RRP $139.95
