Vodafone Cheap Samsung Tab S
The hailed new tablet is now selling at Vodafone stores in store and online today on plan. The telco is one of the last to get the Android device but is down pricing rivals Optus and Telstra by having the cheapest 4G data plan.
Samsung Galaxy Tab S has a Super AMOLED 10.5′ display, in-built speakers, Exynos octa-core chipset, fingerprint sensor, 8mp rear camera/2.1 mp out front. It also has Adaptive Display, which automatically adjusts the display so works better in the sun than other tablets.
Voda’s cheapest plan is $47 for 2.5GB data per month (over 24 months) or $52 for 4GB, which is cheaper than Optus’ equivalent which costs $48 for 1.5GB and Telstra cheapest plan which is $50 pm for 1GB.
Tab S is available at Vodafone for $792 outright, slightly pricier than mass retailers.
The telco is selling GALAXY Tab S 10.5 in white only.
Vodafone Sales Director Ben McIntosh said “the Tab S is the brightest star when it comes to tablets right now offering high-end features in spades. This is the perfect device for customers who love streaming and viewing rich video and audio content, and there’s no better way to enjoy it than using our lightning-fast 4G network.”
Vodafone is investing $1 billion in its network this year. This investment comes after Vodafone announced plans last month to deliver 4G coverage to 95% of Australia’s metropolitan population by the end of 2014.
