Nvidia To Unveil Revamped Shield TV

A recent FCC filing appears to confirm the development of a revamped Nvidia Shield TV, following a slew of previous rumours.

The FCC filing for the device named the NVIDIA Corporation SHIELD Android TV Game Console P3430 comes after a new NVIDIA Android TV box appeared on the Google Play Developer console back in June.

According to details found in the listing, the new Shield TV will likely be powered by the Tegra X1 T210 B01 processor, which will come with a higher max GPU clock speed and more efficient power usage.

It will run Android 9 Pie out of the box and is Wi-Fi and Bluetooth enabled.

This will be the third version of the Shield TV range since its 2015 launch and 2017 upgrade.

Not much other details on specs or release have been detailed.
