Origin Acoustics has expanded its partnership with Bang & Olufsen, moving past co-design collaboration to a brand management deal.

Origin has been named as the US Brand Manager for Bang & Olufsen’s full custom channel portfolio – a step up after six years of a fruitful co-branding partnership on products such as the Celestial in-ceiling speakers and Palatial in-wall speakers, which both companies sell.

Under this new partnership, selected Origin Acoustics integrators will have access to Bang & Olufsen’s BeoPlay headphones, BeoVision televisions, BeoSound speakers and soundbars, and BeoAmp amplifiers.

Origin says this newly expanded partnership shows its “commitment and focus on growing the custom installation market by creating and offering design-centric products that will resonate with interior designers, architects and ultimately, consumers.”

Origin will be tasked with bringing Bang & Olufsen’s product line to a larger audience in the US market. To this end, they have appointed a new team, headed by company President Marc Fisher, with a Bang & Olufsen moving into Origin’s Las Vegas office.

Origin has also established a Bang & Olufsen Experience Center in its Las Vegas showroom.
