Xbox One: 1M in 24 Hrs The Xbox One was the biggest in Xbox history, with more than one million consoles sold worldwide in less than 24 hours, Microsoft confirmed in a blog. 

This surpasses first day sales of Microsoft previous hit console – Xbox 360 – and sets a new record for the company’s console sales. 
“We are humbled and grateful for the excitement of Xbox fans around the world,” said Yusuf Mehdi, corporate vice president of marketing and strategy, Xbox.

“We are working hard to create more Xbox One consoles and look forward to fulfilling holiday gift wishes this season.” 

According to Xbox Wire, Xbox One is now sold out at most retailers.
JB Hi-Fi Marketing Manager Scott Browning predicts Xbox One will sell out before Christmas. 
“Based on the initial uptake, it is likely that the market will sell out its supply before Christmas,” he told CN on Friday.
Games like “Forza Motorsport 5,” “Dead Rising 3” and “Killer Instinct” are also wildly popular according to the blog. 
“In the last 24 hours, more than 60 million zombies have been killed in “Dead Rising 3”, more than 3.6 million miles driven in “Forza Motorsport 5”, more than 7.1 million combos in “Killer Instinct” and more than 8.5 million enemies defeated in “Ryse: Son of Rome.”
EB Games, confirmed it was the biggest launch they had ever seen and opened all 317 stores at midnight on Thursday, last, with extensive queues prior to midnight.
