MSI has revealed a new gaming monitor that aims to bridge the gap between ultra-fast esports displays and high-resolution screens designed for immersive gaming experiences.

Announced at Computex 2026, the MSI MPG OLED 322URDX36 introduces a triple-mode display system that allows users to switch between different resolution and refresh rate combinations depending on the task at hand. The 31.5-inch monitor can operate at 4K resolution with a 240Hz refresh rate, 1440p at 360Hz, or Full HD at 500Hz.

The approach reflects changing gaming habits, with many users moving between competitive multiplayer titles, graphically demanding single-player games and everyday productivity work on the same computer. Traditionally, choosing one type of monitor often meant sacrificing performance in another area.

The display uses Samsung’s latest QD-OLED panel technology, combining deep black levels and fast response times with strong colour accuracy and brightness. MSI says the monitor supports VESA DisplayHDR True Black 500 certification and offers a 0.03ms response time.

Additional features include AI-assisted visibility tools, DisplayPort 2.1a, HDMI 2.1 and USB-C connectivity with power delivery support.

MSI has yet to announce Australian pricing or availability, but the monitor is expected to sit firmly within the premium end of the gaming display market when it arrives.
