Forget reheating leftovers, this microwave can run Battlefield 6.

RGB lighting specialist SignalRGB has turned an ordinary kitchen microwave into a fully functioning gaming PC.

Inside sits an Intel Core Ultra 5 225 CPU, an NVIDIA RTX 5060 Ti GPU, 48GB of DDR5 RAM and a 2TB SSD – all powered by an 1100W platinum-rated PSU.

Despite the cramped quarters, a custom 240mm AIO cooler keeps temperatures under control. Airflow vents have been cleverly integrated through the microwave’s original chassis.

Where things get even more unbelievable is the display.

SignalRGB has mounted a 16-inch screen behind the microwave’s glass door, allowing gamers to play directly on the appliance.

The original number pad has been swapped for a Stream Deck, turning keypad inputs into programmable macros for lighting effects or quick game commands.

The motherboard even spins on the microwave’s original turntable, creating what the company calls the “world’s slowest RGB showcase”.

Of course the entire build is drenched in synchronised RGB lighting, powered by SignalRGB’s own control software.

In a cheeky nod to microwave safety features, opening the door even pauses the game.

The system is no gimmick when it comes to performance either.

SignalRGB’s tests show the microwave PC running Crysis 3 Remastered at 98fps and Battlefield 6 at 120fps in 1440p.

The project took three weeks to complete and isn’t for sale. Instead, SignalRGB is giving it away in a global competition.

This isn’t the company’s first move into appliance-PC hybrids. Earlier this year it converted a toaster into a mini gaming rig.
