Microsoft Outage Locks Out Outlook Users
Microsoft suffered an outage throughout the world yesterday which cut off user access to Outlook on the web for majority of the day.
The client apps for Outlook seemed to still be working, however anyone that was using the redesigned Outlook for Windows app was cut off.
The only way to avoid this was to dig into the registry to revert back to the old version.
Microsoft have advised it is testing a fix that is showcasing positive results, however lets hope the issue is fixed prior to issue travelling to other nations.
“We’re conducting tests on a fix that has been showing positive results. Once the validation is complete, we’ll deploy the change to all affected infrastructure. Additional information can be found in the admin center under EX610644.”
