IBM Boss Steps Down
Stevens is to retire after 33 years in the IT industry.
He was appointed to the top job at IBM ANZ in January 2011.
The global IT giants’ fortunes have gone south of late, but a new deal with Apple, announced this week could see it enjoy a renaissance in the enterprise market.
Stevens joined IBM in 2002 as a part of IBM’s acquisition of PricewaterhouseCoopers’ Consulting business.
In 2009, after leading IBM’s Global Business Services in Asia Pacific, he was appointed Managing Partner for Growth Markets.
