Logitech’s Advanced User Keyboard Set For Oz
So you’ve got yourself the MX Master 3 ergonomic wireless mouse from Logitech, and you want to pair with an equally powerful and robust wireless keyboard, well now you can with the MX Keys Master Series keyboard.
Available for preorder from Logitech, the MX Keys Master Series Keyboard will set you back $199.95 when it arrives later this month.
Much like the MX Master 3 mouse (check out our review here), the MX Keys wireless keyboard is pack full of features and tricks; all supported through the Logitech Options application for both Mac and Windows.
While the price point may scare casual keyboard users away, the Logitech MX Keys will appeal to copywriters, journos and coders alike, with the high-quality keyboard promoted as enabling an advanced user to ‘achieve peak performance’.
Engineered in Switzerland, the MX Keys Advanced Wireless Illuminated Keyboard provides a premium typing experience with ‘fluid keystrokes’ and accurate, tactical response from the keys.
While I am personally partial to mechanical keyboards, the Logitech MX Keys represent a portion of the market where some users require more function than the form provided by a mechanical switch.
The smart illumination feature of the keyboard detects your hands before lighting up, as well as adjusting to ambient light levels, with an automatic battery-saving function that will turn off the backlight when not in use.
Powered by a 2873465mAh battery, the MX Keys will last you 10 days on a full charge, or up to 5 months with backlighting turned off, all charged through the included USB-C port.
An optional wrist pad can also be added to the keyboard, which is available with Logitech MX Keys Plus version.
On their own, both the MX Master 3 wireless mouse and MX Keys wireless keyboard perform superbly and get the job done, but together, well as the saying goes, many hands make light work, and the Logitech Master series really shows any task who’s boss.
By configuring both products together within the Logitech Options, advanced users can truly unlock ‘peak performance’ through assigning complex macros and shortcuts.
Plus, with Logitech Flow technology, users can even seamlessly switch between up three Windows or Mac computers simultaneously.
