Logitech, Tencent Team For Handheld Cloud Gaming Console

Logitech and Tencent’s partnership have begun to bear fruit with new leaks revealing their new handheld cloud gaming console.

Leaks by known tipster Evan Blass have revealed what seem to be promotional images of the device, which looks to be running an Android operating system.

The design also bears a close resemblance to a Tencent patent filing for a PC console.

The leak was quickly taken down following a DMCA (Digital Millenium Copyright Act) which adds fuel to the rumour that the device pictured may indeed resemble the actual console.

The Logitech G handheld will focus on cloud gaming unlike other available consoles, and is tipped to run both Xbox Cloud Gaming and Nvidia GeForce. Images reveal a Steam logo meaning that Valve may incorporate their service in some way.

The device at this stage is believed to be Wi-Fi, but a 5G model could be in the works too, which would make sense for ultimate gaming on the go.

Console gaming is expected to be the future of the industry with tech titans such as Samsung and LG implementing cloud gaming services with their TV’s, eliminating the need for expensive hardware.
