Logitech G has launched the Logitech G Rivals tournament, a new grassroots esports competition centred on Rainbow 6 Siege X that aims to support emerging Australian gaming talent and local communities.

The tournament serves as a flagship activation under the broader Logitech G Play Days initiative, demonstrating the company’s commitment to empowering gamers across all skill levels.

Open registration begins July 8, leading to Open Qualifiers scheduled for August 2-3.

The qualifying stage features a double-elimination, best-of-one format with no entry cap, providing an accessible pathway for teams of varying experience levels.

Registration closes August 1 at 11:59 PM AEST, with successful teams advancing to the Regular Season running from August 14 to September 4.

The Regular Season will feature eight teams competing in a round-robin format every Thursday and Friday, with four matches broadcast live on Twitch each evening.

The tournament structure provides consistent weekly competition designed to build audience engagement and showcase local talent throughout the competition period.

The competition culminates in playoffs and a live Grand Final at Melbourne’s Fortress venue, offering a $5,000 AUD prize pool alongside additional prizes for participating teams.

The live final represents a celebration of local competition and community building within Australia’s esports ecosystem.
