LG V40 Takes On Huawei P20 Pro With Five Cameras
Taking on the likes of Huawei’s P20 Pro, recent reports suggest LG may incorporate five camera lenses on its forthcoming ‘V40’ phone. Set to launch later this year, the flagship device is tipped to look similar to the G7 ThinQ, with a ‘notch’.
The V40 follows the release of the V30 and V35 variants, which while receiving rave reviews, compared to Samsung and Apple failed to make a notable market dent.
Commentators claim LG’s comparatively sluggish smartphone division stems from inadequate marketing and brand positioning – a stark contrast to booming its OLED TV line.
According to Android Police, the LG V40 will feature a triple rear camera set-up, similar to Huawei’s P20 Pro. Like the HTC 12+ the V40 is said to incorporate dual front cameras.
If the rumours are correct, the LG V40 could be one of the first smartphones to feature five camera lenses on one device.
Similar to LG’s predecessing smartphones, the V40 is tipped to include stereo sound, a Snapdragon processor, facial recognition and a plethora of other features frequently found in today’s flagship phones.
